Job summary

Thom Child & Family Services in Worcester, MA is seeking a Bilingual-Spanish or Portuguese or Haitian Creole Developmental Specialist / Early Childhood Educator to provide home and community based early intervention services to infants and toddlers birth to three and their families. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in infants and toddlers related field or Early Intervention/Early Childhood Education with practicum experience.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Bilingual in Spanish, Portuguese or Haitian Creole is required.

Responsibilities

• Participate in multidisciplinary assessments of developmental status.
• Assess family and child strengths, concerns, and progress.
• Provide family-centered services for birth to three with parent coaching.
• Coordinate services and IFSP goals and timelines.
• Facilitate parent-child interactions and advocate for the child.
• Complete progress notes and documentation in the electronic system.
• Provide individual and group intervention for infants and toddlers with delays.
