Raio Dental Hempstead seeks a hands-on Dental Practice Manager to lead an 8-operatory, multi-provider office in Hempstead, NY. The role requires bilingual Spanish/English fluency and meaningful Medicaid dental experience.

You will drive operations, supervise staff and optimize revenue-cycle management with centralized support. The position is full-time, with a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities to implement robust systems before volume increases.

Qualifications

• Bilingual Spanish/English required.
• Meaningful Medicaid dental experience required.
• Prior dental practice management/front-office leadership experience.
• Strong understanding of dental insurance, Medicaid workflows, eligibility and patient balances.

Responsibilities

• Run the day: manage patient flow, schedules, cancellations, no-shows and bottlenecks.
• Know the numbers: understand patient ledgers, insurance vs patient balances, collections and outstanding treatment.
• Drive production: keep doctor and hygiene schedules productive, reappoint patients and follow up on unscheduled treatment.
• Move treatment forward: discuss treatment plans with patients, explain financial responsibility and address barriers.
• Navigate Medicaid: understand eligibility, authorizations and documentation for Medicaid patients.
• Lead the team: set clear expectations, address performance issues and create accountability.
• Communicate effectively: build trust with patients and team members in Spanish and English.
