Urban Health Plan is seeking a Dental Hygienist (RDH) to support our Bella Vista Community Health Center in the Bronx, NY. The role involves exam, cleaning, radiographs, fluoride/sealant applications, and patient education.

Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–5:00 pm, with a salary range of $84,000–$94,000 depending on experience. The ideal candidate is a NYS‑registered RDH with local anesthesia certification, strong communication skills, and fluency in English/Spanish.

Qualifications

• NYS Registered Dental Hygienist license or eligible.
• Familiarity with dental terminology and general dentistry principles.
• Computer proficiency required for patient records and scheduling.
• Local anesthesia certification or ability to obtain it.
• Excellent communication skills and patient education ability.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is required.

Responsibilities

• Examine gums with probes to detect periodontal disease.
• Clean deposits, stains, and calculus from teeth and beneath gum margins.
• Apply fluorides and sealants to prevent decay.
• Provide clinical services or health education to improve oral health.
• Review patient medical history for indications of oral cancer.
