Job summary

Dentila in Orlando, FL is seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will welcome patients, assist clinicians, and maintain precise scheduling and records within a state-of-the-art practice.

Six paid holidays, PTO, and health benefits are part of the package. The position requires English/Spanish bilingual skills, X-ray certification, and experience with Dentrix and iTero tools.

Qualifications

• Minimum dental assistant certification and/or x-ray certification as required by state.
• Experience in a fast-paced, customer-centric dental environment.
• Bilingual English/Spanish required.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients from the start of their dental journey and educate throughout treatment.
• Review patient health history to inform quality care.
• Take and process x-rays and diagnostic assessments (iTero 3D scanner, digital photography).
• Provide chairside assistance (four-handed dentistry) to supported dentists during procedures.
• Utilize Dentrix for patient scheduling and record keeping.
• Prepare treatment rooms with strict safety protocols and OSHA & CDC guidelines.
• Manage supply and inventory levels and place/expedite orders as needed.
• Partner with providers and team to implement Heartland Dental systems and maximize office workflow.
