Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Delivery Specialist to operate store vehicles and deliver parts to customers. The role includes processing COD deliveries, collecting payments, and handling customer returns in a safe, efficient manner.

Strong interpersonal communication, a valid driver’s license, and familiarity with automotive parts are required. Bilingual Spanish speakers are encouraged to apply to support a diverse customer base.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Driving record must meet the standard set in the company's 14/18-point record system.
• Must possess a legally required state driver's license and meet company mandated driving eligibility requirements.
• Familiar with automotive parts.
• Ability to operate other light store equipment.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired).

Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to customers in a safe and efficient manner.
• Process deliveries using delivery fleet management devices, capture customer signatures, update mileage, and complete daily vehicle inspections.
• Keep delivery vehicles, keys, fuel/fleet credit cards, devices, and money secure at all times.
• Pick up customer returns and fill out driver return slips.
• Communicate problems or special needs from customers to store management.
• Report vehicle maintenance needs or damage to store manager immediately.
• Clock in/out according to company policy.
• Assist with customer service, stocking, merchandising, and other duties as needed.
