Qualifications

• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations.
• Driving record must meet the standard set in the company's 14/18-point record system.
• Must possess a legally required state driver's license and meet company mandated driving eligibility requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to customers in a safe and efficient manner.
• Use delivery fleet management hand-held devices to process deliveries, capture customer signatures, update vehicle mileage, and perform daily vehicle inspections.
• Keep delivery vehicles clean, maintained and inspect prior to operation.
• Secure vehicles, keys, fuel/fleet cards, devices, and monies collected at all times.
• Pickup customer returns and fill driver return slip.
• Communicate problems or special needs from customers to store management.
• Report vehicle maintenance needs or damage to store manager immediately.
• Ensure fuel tank is filled and secure vehicle at end of day.
• Clock in/out according to company policy.
• Perform other duties including customer service, stocking, merchandising, and errands.
• May assist customers or act as cashier when needed.
