O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Delivery Specialist to maintain and operate store vehicles for delivering parts to professional customers. The role involves processing deliveries, collecting COD payments, and handling customer returns.

You will use handheld devices, perform daily vehicle inspections, keep vehicles and equipment secure, and support customer service and merchandising as needed. Bilingual candidates are encouraged.

Qualifications

• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing delivery situations.
• Driving record must meet the standard set in the company's 14/18-point record system.
• Must possess a legally required state driver's license and meet company mandated driving eligibility requirements.
• Bilingual in Spanish is highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to customers in a safe and efficient manner.
• Process deliveries using handheld devices, capture customer signatures, update mileage, and complete vehicle inspections.
• Keep delivery vehicles, keys, fuel/fleet cards, devices, and money secure at all times.
• Pick up customer returns and complete driver return slips.
• Communicate issues or special needs to store management and report maintenance or damage as needed.
• Clock in/out according to company policy and perform other duties including stocking and merchandising.
• May assist customers as a cashier or with merchandising when business requires.
