O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Delivery Specialist to operate store vehicles and deliver parts to professional customers in a safe, efficient manner. The role includes processing COD deliveries, collecting payments, and handling customer returns.

Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply and may assist with cashier duties as needed. Responsibilities include vehicle inspections, securing equipment and monies, and communicating customer needs to store management.

Qualifications

• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations.
• Driving record must meet the standard set in the company's 14/18-point record system.
• Must possess a legally required state driver's license and meet company mandated driving eligibility requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to customers in a safe and efficient manner.
• Use delivery fleet management hand-held devices to process deliveries, capture customer signatures, update vehicle mileage, and complete daily vehicle inspections.
• Keep delivery vehicles clean, maintained, and ensure daily inspections.
• Secure monies collected, keys, fuel/fleet cards, and devices at all times.
• Pick up customer returns and complete driver return slips.
• Communicate issues or special customer needs to store management.
• Report vehicle maintenance needs or damage to store manager.
• Ensure fuel tank is filled and vehicle is secured at end of day.
• Clock in/out according to company policy.
• Assist with basic customer service, cashier tasks, and merchandising as needed.
