Job summary

LiftFund is seeking a Collections and Account Resolution Associate to manage and service a portfolio of delinquent loans, driving timely recoveries in alignment with company policies. The role requires proactive outreach, detailed loan analyses, and negotiation of repayment plans to minimize losses.

You will coordinate with lending, accounting, and management, oversee third-party vendors, and document all activities with accuracy. Bilingual English/Spanish is required to serve diverse borrowers.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of debt collection, customer service, asset recovery, and collateral disposition.
• Knowledge of FDCPA, U.S. Bankruptcy Code, and related laws governing collection activities.
• Strong customer service while resolving conflicts with professionalism and empathy.
• Highly self-motivated, goal-oriented with attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
• Analytical and critical thinking with sound decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Manage and service an assigned loan portfolio with timely collection and loan modifications.
• Conduct loan analyses and rating assessments to monitor portfolio performance and risk.
• Proactively identify delinquency signs and initiate outreach, site visits, or legal actions as needed.
• Perform high-volume collection calls to resolve delinquent accounts.
• Maintain delinquency and portfolio-at-risk levels within standards and enforce consistent collection efforts.
• Counsel and negotiate repayment plans with delinquent clients.
• Process payments by credit card or check and post to accounts.
• Track portfolio trends and prepare loan performance reports and dashboards.
• Coordinate repossession and foreclosure activities per guidelines and regulatory requirements.
• Manage relationships with collection agencies, legal counsel, repossession agents, and liquidators.
