Job summary

Cavender’s is seeking a Bilingual Cashier to provide exceptional customer service in both English and Spanish. You will greet customers, process transactions, answer questions, and help shoppers find solutions while maintaining a clean, stocked sales floor.

The role requires fluency in English and Spanish, strong communication, accuracy with POS systems, and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Provide exceptional customer service in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Accurately operate a Point of Sale system and handle cash/electronic transactions.
• Ability to lift/move merchandise during shifts.
• Safely use store equipment with age-appropriate restrictions.
• Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, holidays.
• Fluent in English and Spanish (reading, speaking, understanding).

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and deliver Best of the WEST customer service throughout the shopping experience.
• Process purchases, returns, exchanges, and other POS transactions accurately.
• Assist customers by answering questions and locating products.
• Maintain clean, organized, and well-stocked sales floor; restock and recover displays.
• Promote store promotions, programs, and suggest additional merchandise.
• Follow company policies and procedures and report safety concerns to management.
