Job summary

Preferred Behavioral Health Group in Wayne, New Jersey is hiring a CPSAI Assessment Counselor to perform substance use assessments for DCP&P caregivers and coordinate referrals for treatment. This Full Time role offers a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package.

Responsibilities include timely task completion, coordinating services, keeping DCP&P updated, and proper documentation including progress notes and referrals in NJSAMS. Bilingual Spanish is a plus for this role.

Qualifications

• Education: Associates, Bachelors Degree or CADC.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly completes all assigned tasks within prescribed time frames.
• Plans and coordinates all substance abuse services and monitors compliance.
• Keeps DCP&P informed of client status and provides necessary signatures.
• Submits monthly tracking forms and enters referrals into NJSAMS.
• Completes Progress Notes and all communication with client and case conferences.
