Job summary

The role requires bilingual Spanish proficiency, completion of a Spanish oral skills assessment, 20 wpm typing with at most 3 errors, and passing pre-employment tests with high scores. Strong customer service and clear English communication are essential to succeed.

Qualifications

• Must be bilingual (Spanish).
• Must demonstrate typing speed of 20 words per minute with a maximum of 3 errors.
• Must pass pre-employment spelling test with at least 85%.
• Must pass a customer service skills test with minimum 80%.
• Must communicate effectively in English via telephone, paging and in person.
• Must demonstrate working knowledge of personal computers and office equipment.
• Must communicate with patients, families and staff per policies.
• Must function well in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Understands emergency code notification processes and uses telecommunications accordingly.
• Practices active listening to identify caller needs and routes calls appropriately.
• Maintains productivity and quality standards to keep Call Center efficient.
• Utilizes supplies and equipment responsibly to steward Parkland's resources.
