Job summary

Ascension's St. Louise Family Medical Center in Murfreesboro, TN seeks a Certified Medical Assistant to support the primary care team. You will welcome patients, perform initial screenings, document vital signs, and assist with orders for labs and imaging in a fast-paced clinic.

The role requires a CMA credential, BLS, and bilingual Spanish/English abilities, with four 10-hour shifts per week and comprehensive health benefits.

Qualifications

• BLS Provider required within 1 Month (30 days) of hire or transfer date; acceptable by AHA or Red Cross.
• Certified Medical Assistant certification required within 4 Months (120 days) of hire or transfer date; various credentialing bodies accepted.

Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment environments and conduct initial screenings to coordinate patient visits.
• Accurately document vital signs and care journeys to provide high-quality data for clinical decisions.
• Transcribe and process orders for labs and imaging to ensure timely follow-up services.
• Manage front-of-house communications and maintain medical supplies to support the care team.
