Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Graduation from a CAAHEP/ABHES accredited medical assisting program with at least 720 hours incl 160 externship.
• One year CMA experience preferred.
• CPR certification required within 90 days of hire.
• CMA certification or WA interim certification required.
• Bilingual English/Spanish required at a high level.
• Proficient with MS Outlook/Word/Excel; Epic/EMR experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update patient medical records including vitals, treatments, and medications.
• Prepare for patient visits by reviewing files and coordinating with Providers.
• Prepare and maintain exam rooms, explain procedures, educate patients, and assist physicians.
• Collect lab specimens, administer medications, and perform other clinical tasks.
