Job summary

Urban Health Plan in Corona, Queens seeks licensed clinical social workers (LMSW/LMHC/LCSW) for full-time, on-site roles. You will perform bio-psychosocial assessments and provide individual therapy to children, working with an interdisciplinary team in a growing health center.

Requirements include a Master’s in Social Work, NYS licensure, 1–2 years of counseling experience, and bilingual Spanish/English. Comprehensive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
• New York State licensure LMSW, LMHC, or LCSW is required.
• 1–2 years of counseling experience.
• Bilingual Spanish/English is required.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced interdisciplinary team environment.
• Ability to identify high-risk psychosocial factors affecting health.

Responsibilities

• Provides bio-psychosocial and clinical diagnostic assessments.
• Conducts individual psychotherapy for children within schools.
• Maintains and updates clinical knowledge to support treatment and transitions.
• Provides family counseling to aid understanding and support for patients.
• Engages in crisis intervention and refers to community resources as needed.
• Collaborates with physicians to develop and implement treatment plans.
• Participates in clinical team meetings.
