Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Bilingual Part-Time Clinical Research Coordinator to support a Pneumococcal Disease clinical trial in the Richmond, TX area. This onsite role focuses on identifying and recruiting eligible participants, educating them about the study, and ensuring engagement and compliance throughout the trial.

The successful candidate will review EMR data, perform pre-screenings, enroll participants, and coordinate visits, while maintaining clear documentation and adhering to GCP and HIPAA

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in patient recruitment for clinical research studies.
• Experience with chart review and pre-screening of patients for clinical trials.
• Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and GCP.

Responsibilities

• Review EMR to assess participants against inclusion/exclusion criteria.
• Pre-screen potential participants based on protocol requirements.
• Recruit and enroll participants into the clinical trial per protocols and regulatory requirements.
• Educate participants about the study procedures, expectations and follow-up.
• Conduct follow-up communications to support retention and protocol compliance.
• Schedule in-person visits and reminders, and document activities in EMR.
• Coordinate with the research team to ensure smooth trial operations.
• Adhere to GCP, HIPAA and site policies in participant management and data handling.
