Job summary

The UCLA Center for Healthy Climate Solutions (C-Solutions) seeks a Communications Manager to lead storytelling, content, campaigns, and public presence that translate climate, health, and equity research into policy impact. You will work with the Center Director to produce accessible materials for diverse audiences in Los Angeles.

Fluency in English and Spanish is required to adapt materials with cultural nuance.

Qualifications

• 5 years of progressively responsible communications experience, including strategy development and execution.
• Bilingual English/Spanish, with the ability to develop and adapt communications fluently for bilingual audiences.
• Experience designing and managing social media strategy, digital channels, media relations, and multi-channel marketing campaigns.
• Experience preparing senior leaders or subject-matter experts for media interviews.
• Proven ability to translate technical content into clear, public-facing materials.
• Experience defining success metrics and evaluating communications performance.
• Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities under deadline.
