Panoramic Health, the clinical research division Panoramic Science, is seeking a bilingual Central Enrollment Coordinator. This role connects eligible patients with clinical research opportunities via outbound calls, pre-screening, education, and ongoing communication.

The ideal candidate is fluent in English and Spanish, comfortable speaking with patients remotely, and able to manage multiple workflows with professionalism and empathy. Remote work in the Pacific Time Zone is supported.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is required.
  • 1–2 years of customer service experience.
  • Healthcare experience is strongly preferred.
  • Experience in telephonic outreach or patient access is preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic computer skills.
  • Familiarity with EHR/EMR systems (AthenaNet/Salesforce preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Recruit and pre-screen patients for studies based on protocol criteria.
  • Conduct outbound calls using approved scripts to discuss study opportunities.
  • Explain clinical research in clear, culturally appropriate terms and assess interest.
  • Provide education on study requirements and participation expectations.
  • Coordinate with Clinical Research Coordinators and team members as needed.
  • Maintain accurate documentation in systems and protect patient confidentiality.

Panoramic Science, the clinical research division of Panoramic Health, is expanding access to clinical research by bringing clinical trials into real-world healthcare settings. Our research network supports studies across cardiovascular, renal, and metabolic conditions and connects patients with opportunities to participate in research through a growing network of research sites and healthcare providers.

We are seeking a Bilingual Central Enrollment Coordinator to join our centralized research enrollment team. This position plays an important role in connecting potentially eligible patients with clinical research opportunities through proactive outreach, pre-screening, education, scheduling, and ongoing patient communication.

The ideal candidate is a bilingual English/Spanish communicator who is comfortable speaking with patients by phone, explaining clinical research in a clear and culturally appropriate manner, and managing multiple conversations and workflows with professionalism and empathy.

What You'll Do
Patient Recruitment & Pre-Screening
  • Review and prioritize patient lists for pre-screening and outreach based on study-specific criteria.
  • Conduct telephone outreach to potentially eligible patients using approved study-specific scripts.
  • Discuss clinical research opportunities with patients, answer questions, and assess their interest in participating.
  • Provide structured, culturally appropriate education regarding research participation and study requirements.
  • Conduct study-specific surveys and collect relevant patient information as directed by the protocol.
  • Perform outreach to patients requiring study-related travel or other study-specific assistance.
Patient Communication & Engagement
  • Maintain timely, professional, and compassionate communication with research participants.
  • Respond to inbound patient calls, voicemails, and messages.
  • Contact patients who miss research visits, are overdue for services, or require follow-up based on study protocols.
  • Provide reminders regarding research visits, study requirements, and other study-specific information.
  • Serve as a patient advocate, liaison, and resource throughout the enrollment and research process.
  • Utilize warm handoffs to connect patients with Clinical Research Coordinators, Project Managers, or other appropriate team members when needed.
  • Escalate urgent or critical information promptly and appropriately.
Care Team & Research Coordination
  • Collaborate with practice-based care teams to execute patient recruitment and enrollment campaigns.
  • Communicate effectively with site-level Clinical Research Coordinators and centralized research staff.
  • Coordinate incoming and outgoing patient and study information.
  • Assist with identifying external vendors needed to support study participation, including local laboratories, diagnostic services, transportation, and other protocol-required services.
  • Support scheduling of upcoming study visits and other research-related appointments.
Documentation & Administrative Support
  • Collect and update relevant medical, surgical, social, and family history information.
  • Ensure appropriate documentation of depression screenings and patient activation measures.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation within established workflows and systems.
  • Utilize standardized messaging, templates, workflows, and documentation practices to ensure consistency and accuracy.
  • Enter and update information in the Clinical Trial Management System (CTMS) as needed.
  • Adhere to established confidentiality, productivity, quality, and documentation standards.
  • Provide administrative support to the research team as needed.
  • Support quality assurance audits and other research operations initiatives.
What We're Looking For
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish required.
  • 1-2 years of customer service experience required.
  • Prior healthcare experience strongly preferred.
  • Prior telephonic customer service, patient outreach, call center, or patient access experience preferred.
  • Experience communicating with patients from diverse backgrounds in a professional and empathetic manner.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
  • Familiarity with EHR/EMR systems; experience with athenaNet and/or Salesforce preferred.
  • Ability to learn and follow study-specific protocols, scripts, workflows, and documentation requirements.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organization and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy and professionalism.
  • Comfortable working independently in a remote environment while collaborating closely with a distributed research team.
  • Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
