Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Instruct students in the skills needed to operate CDL vehicles.
• Teach students how to park CDL vehicles using various methods.
• Ensure students are familiar with controls, gauges, and components of CDL vehicles.
• Prepare materials for simulator program lessons, assignments, and tests.

Skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Extensive knowledge of CDL vehicle operation and vehicle laws

Ability to be patient and remain calm when riding with a student driver

Knowledge of CDL vehicle components and their purposes

Ability to teach students the principles of operating a vehicle

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

Valid Commercial Driver's License and clean driving record

Class A License Preferred

Two years of relevant experience

Fluency in multiple languages
