Job summary

Merchants Distributors, Inc. (MDI) is seeking a bilingual CDL Class A driver to join our Kentucky-based team. You will inspect, load, and deliver goods along assigned routes, ensuring accuracy, safety, and customer satisfaction on every stop.

Responsibilities include reviewing orders, handling payments, and maintaining compliance with DOT regulations. The position offers a Monday–Friday schedule with potential local travel from Hickory, NC and a focus on reliable, professional service.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A license with Medical Card is required.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is required.
• 1 year of verifiable tractor-trailer experience.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Clean driving record and stable work history.
• Travel required on assigned routes.

Responsibilities

• Inspect vehicle before and after trips.
• Load, transport, and deliver items to clients on schedule.
• Review orders for accuracy and customer satisfaction.
• Assist with loading/unloading and accepting payments.
• Provide excellent customer service and resolve questions or complaints.
• Adhere to routes, schedules, and DOT regulations.
• Prepare delivery reports and operate equipment as needed.
• Ensure cargo is secured to prevent damage.
