Job summary

Merchants Distributors, LLC (MDI) in Hickory, NC is seeking Tractor-Trailer Drivers to ensure timely deliveries, review orders, and assist with unloading. This role serves the PA, OH, MD, KY, WV, VA, TN, NC, SC, GA, FL regions.

Candidates must be 21+ with a CDL Class A, a clean MVR, and pass required tests. We offer home time several nights a week, bonuses, PTO, health benefits, and a modern fleet.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old with an active CDL Class A.
• MVR clean with no more than 2 tickets and no at-fault DOT accidents in 3 years.
• At least 1 year of verifiable tractor-trailer driving or completion of an accredited Class A CDL program.
• Must pass MVR, criminal, drug, DOT physical, and job simulation tests.
• Basic computer skills, strong communication, self-starter, professional appearance, and good organization.

Responsibilities

• Deliver goods to customers on schedule and verify orders before delivery.
• Assist with unloading and use pallet jacks as needed.
• Provide excellent customer service during deliveries and cover multiple states.
