Overview

The Bilingual Cashier greets and thanks every customer entering and leaving the store. They must be proficient in all aspects of the Cavender's Boot City cashiering system and knowledgeable of all related paperwork. Responsibilities include maintaining a neat store, answering phones professionally, and supporting management with tasks like stocking, visual displays, and basic housekeeping.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Support the company's culture, mission, vision, and values.
• Perform cashiering tasks accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Be knowledgeable of CBC policies and cashiering transactions such as cash sales, check sales, non-taxable sales, credit card transactions, voids, and exchanges.
• Enter all sales and cash accurately at the time of sale.
• Assist with stocking merchandise and store organization.
• Promote add-on purchases and store specials.
• Report to work promptly, dressed appropriately, and groomed.
• Remain security conscious at all times.
• Respond knowledgeably to phone inquiries regarding sales, promotions, and inventory.
• Stay updated on current promotions and sales.
• Practice inventory control, especially on boots.
• Follow company policies on all sales, including validating sales tickets.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Collaborate with supervisors to achieve company goals such as ADS, UPTs, and vendor promotions.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Ability to lift objects regularly during shifts.
