Overview

The Bilingual Cashier is responsible for greeting and thanking customers entering and leaving the store. Must be proficient in all aspects of the Cavender's Boot City cashiering system and knowledgeable of all related paperwork. The role also includes maintaining store cleanliness, answering phones professionally, and supporting management with tasks like stocking, visual displays, and housekeeping.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Support the "Cavender's Culture" and uphold our Mission, Vision, and Values.
• Perform cashiering tasks accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain a neat, clean, and organized work area.
• Be knowledgeable about CBC policies and procedures.
• Handle all cashiering transactions: Cash Sales, Check Sales, Non-taxable sales, Credit Cards, Voids, Exchanges.
• Enter all sales and monies into the register at the time of sale.
• Assist with stocking merchandise and store organization.
• Promote add-on purchases and store specials.
• Report to work promptly, dressed appropriately, and maintain personal grooming standards.
• Remain security conscious at all times.
• Respond knowledgeably to phone inquiries regarding sales, promotions, store location, pricing, and inventory.
• Stay updated on sales promotions and pricing.
• Practice inventory control, especially for boots, and check for mis-mates.
• Follow company policies on all sales, validating sales tickets as required.
• Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.
• Collaborate with supervisors to achieve company goals such as ADS, UPTs, and vendor promotions.
