Job summary

Lowe's is seeking a friendly cashier to ensure every customer leaves the store satisfied with a fast, accurate checkout and help customers get the best value.

You'll answer questions, process payments and exchanges, scan and bag items, assist with self-checkout, stay at a clean, safe workstation, and occasionally help other departments as needed in a busy home improvement environment.

Qualifications

• Reading, writing and basic arithmetic are required.
• Ability to stand for prolonged periods.
• Experience using a computer and entering information.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a fast, friendly, and professional checkout experience.
• Proactively assist customers in the self-checkout area.
