Job summary

The Ground Up, Inc. in Houston, TX seeks a reliable Cashier & Customer Service Representative to deliver excellent service and process POS transactions accurately. This on-site role reports to the Site Manager and works with a close-knit retail team in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities include handling cash/credit/check transactions, answering inquiries, and maintaining a clean, organized store. Bilingual English/Spanish required; high school diploma or GED and 1–2 years in retail

Qualifications

1–2 years of retail or customer service experience.
Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish required.
HS diploma or equivalent required.
Strong communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Provide prompt and friendly customer service to ensure a positive shopping experience.
Process POS transactions accurately, including cash, card, and checks.
Balance daily closeouts and run daily reports to ensure financial accuracy.
Answer phone inquiries promptly and professionally.
Maintain a clean, safe work area and assist with light housekeeping.
Collaborate with team to support store operations and goals.
