Job summary

Lutheran Services in Iowa is seeking a full-time or part-time Bilingual Caseworker for Post Release Services and Home Studies in the Siouxland area. You will support unaccompanied children and families with resource referrals, case management, and trauma-informed care, written and spoken in English and Spanish.

This role may require evening and weekend hours and may involve interpreter duties. A Bachelor's degree in human services and at least one year of experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in human services field.
• One year of full-time human services experience.
• Fluent in English and Spanish.
• Experience with Post Release Services and Home Studies preferred.

Responsibilities

• Write and execute home studies for UC and families.
• Facilitate reunification through culturally sensitive assessments and referrals.
• Provide resource referrals, community connections, and case management with trauma-informed care.
• May serve as interpreter when language skills are applicable for case services.
• May work evenings and weekends by appointment.
