Job summary

At Peace Healthcare Agency is hiring compassionate Caregivers / Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) to join our growing team in Philadelphia. You will provide one-on-one, non-medical personal care, companionship, and daily living support for seniors and adults with disabilities in their homes, helping them maintain dignity, independence, and safety.

We value reliability and empathy. Spanish speaking is required.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of personal care experience preferred
• SPANISH SPEAKING- Bilingual
• Proof of current TB testing required
• Must be physically able to perform the essential duties of the position
• Must have reliable transportation
• If transporting clients, must have a valid driver's license and current automobile insurance
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Must be mature, caring, punctual, and dependable
• Ability to work independently while following the client's care plan
• Must successfully pass required criminal background and fingerprint checks

Responsibilities

• As a Caregiver / Personal Care Assistant, you will provide compassionate and dependable support based on each client's individual needs and care plan.
• Provide bathing and grooming assistance as part of Personal Care
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) and support with mobility
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding, when applicable
• Perform light housekeeping and maintain a clean, safe home environment
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
• Assist with transportation to medical appointments and errands when applicable
