Job summary

Right at Home of Greater Jacksonville is seeking compassionate caregivers to help adults live independently at home. You’ll provide personal care, mobility support, meal prep, and companionship with a collaborative team.

We offer flexible full-time or part-time schedules across Jacksonville, Ponte Vedra and St. Augustine, with potential pay incentives and opportunities for advancement within a leading international home-care company.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and reliable insured car.
• Level 2 background check or willing to obtain.
• Willing to travel 30–35 minutes within the greater JAX area.
• Ability to lift at least 25 pounds safely and unassisted.

Responsibilities

• Assist with ADLs including bathing, toileting, dressing and grooming.
• Provide personal care, mobility support, meal prep, light housekeeping.
• Offer companionship and dementia care as part of a team.
• Transport and assist with errands and appointments.
• Maintain safety and report changes in client condition.

Skills

Valid driver’s license

Ability to lift 25 lb

Willing to travel within area

Bilingual (Spanish + English a plus)

Education

High school diploma or GED

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Personal care and hygiene help
• ADLs like bathing, toileting, dressing and grooming
• Assisted transfers, walking and safety supervision
• Meal prep, laundry, and light housekeeping
• Transportation and assistance on errands and appointments
• Companionship and dementia care
• Work as part of a team to improve the quality of life for adults in need
