Job summary

Alignment Health is seeking a Care Management Trainer to onboard, train, and develop clinical and non-clinical Care Management staff, including RNs, LVNs/LPNs, Care Coordinators, and Social Workers within the scope of Care Management.

This role provides structured orientation programs, ongoing competency refreshers around workflow process, workflow updates, system training, and targeted Care Management skills development.

Qualifications

• RN licensure is required and must be current.
• Associate’s Degree or higher in a clinical discipline.
• Bilingual in Spanish is required.
• 3 years in care management or a related clinical field.
• Prior staff development/education experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and perform educational activities for Alignment Health Plan staff, including orientation and competency validation.
• Assess, plan, develop, implement, and evaluate educational programs aligned with regulatory and quality goals.
• Design and maintain training materials, job aids, and digital learning tools.
• Direct the delivery of education for new staff orientation, conduct competency assessments, and establish courses based on needs assessments.
• Perform structured call and chart reviews, review findings with staff and management, and provide coaching.
• Collaborate with local and system leadership to determine market-specific educational needs and integrate audit learnings into training updates.
• Provide one-on-one coaching and mentoring and support compliance with Medicare and Medicaid requirements.
• Track and maintain training completion and competency results.
