Job summary

Right at Home Santa Clara is seeking a caregiver who is bilingual in Cantonese and English to assist seniors in the community. The role offers competitive pay with shifts that can fit your schedule, and weekly pay, with ongoing paid training and development.

You will provide compassionate homemaker/companion services, help with light housekeeping, meals, and transportation needs, all while maintaining a supportive, positive work environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Competency Evaluation completed.
• Sympathetic attitude toward care of the sick.
• Read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Lift at least 50 lbs.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate a vehicle safely.

Responsibilities

• Assist with homemaking activities (vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping).
• Dishes, changing bed linens, laundry, and cleaning bathrooms as needed.
• Provide companionship and establish partnership with clients during activities.
• Prepare simple meals and shop for groceries if needed.
