What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Handle inbound and outbound calls from providers and members, providing accurate information in both English and a second language
- Deliver culturally sensitive customer service regarding medical, dental, vision, COBRA, and other benefits
- Navigate automated systems and escalate complex inquiries to appropriate departments as needed
- Maintain detailed records of customer interactions to support claims processing and operational efficiency
- Stay updated on insurance products, policies, and industry trends to provide informed support
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in customer service or healthcare administration are a plus
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a call center or customer service environment, preferably in healthcare or insurance
- Bilingual (English and Spanish preferred) with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally in both languages
- Strong understanding of third-party administrator (TPA) operations and experience handling provider inquiries related to benefits, eligibility, and claims
