Job summary

Southern Lumber & Millwork is hiring a Bilingual Building Materials Customer Sales Specialist for our Charleston, SC retail team. You will assist customers at the sales counter, by phone, and via email with lumber, moulding, millwork, and related materials.

You will learn our products, provide exceptional service, and help with pricing, orders, payments, and returns while maintaining an organized, welcoming retail space.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to learn construction products and sales software
• Careful attention to order details
• Confidence in handling several customer needs at once
• Dependable, team-oriented approach
• Retail, inside sales, customer service, hardware, home improvement, or building supply experience is helpful
• English and Spanish fluency is strongly preferred

Employment Type: Full-Time, On-Site

Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 7:00 AM–5:00 PM; Friday, 7:00 AM–3:00 PM

No nights or weekends | Paid every Friday!

Southern Lumber & Millwork is hiring a Bilingual Building Materials Customer Sales Specialist for our Charleston, SC retail team. This customer-facing position helps local contractors, builders, remodelers, and homeowners purchase the right materials for their projects.

You will work with customers at our sales counter, by phone, and through email. Daily conversations may involve lumber, moulding, millwork, construction materials, product availability, pricing, orders, payments, and returns.

Knowledge of building materials is helpful but not required. We are prepared to train someone who brings excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, and a genuine interest in learning our products.

Bilingual English and Spanish communication skills are strongly preferred.
