Role Description

Montero Law Group is seeking a full‑time Bankruptcy Paralegal to join our Silver Spring office. In this role you will provide support, assist and handle all phases of bankruptcy cases. The ideal candidate is fluent in Spanish, self‑driven, and able to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively. Previous experience as a bankruptcy paralegal preferred.

Typical Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and filing of bankruptcy petitions and other legal documents
• Conduct legal research on bankruptcy laws and regulations
• Draft correspondence and communicate with clients, creditors, and court personnel
• Maintain and organize case files, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up‑to‑date
• Schedule meetings, hearings, and depositions as required
• Prepare summaries of case information and assist in case strategy development
• Ensure compliance with court rules and deadlines
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications
