Job summary

Pennsylvania Counseling Services Inc. in Lebanon, PA is seeking a Bilingual Bachelor’s Level Family Counselor to join the Family Based program, delivering intensive, community-based support to families in need.

You will work with children’s mental health needs and collaborate with a Master’s-level Mental Health Professional. The role includes training in ESFT, on-call rotation, and employer-paid training opportunities; bilingual candidates may receive a bonus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human services or related field.
• Minimum 1 year experience with children and/or families in a CASSP-related program.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Clearances: PA Criminal History, PA Child Abuse, FBI clearance.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with families to address children's mental health needs.
• Navigate crises, strengthen relationships, and build a resilient support system.
• Collaborate with a Master’s-level Mental Health Professional for up to 8 families.
• Assist in crisis response, case management, and weekly supervision.
• Participate in an employer-paid training program to learn ESFT and earn certification.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in human services, psychology, sociology, social work, nursing, rehabilitation, pre-med, theology, anthropology
• Minimum of 1 years’ experience working with children and/or families in a CASSP related program (volunteer and internships count toward experience)
• Bilingual in Spanish and English
• Ability to transport clients in your car (Valid Driver's License with clean driving record and car insurance)
• Ability to provide services in a variety of locations (home, school & community)
• Ability to be on call on a rotating schedule
• Pennsylvania State Criminal History Check
• Pennsylvania Child Abuse Clearance
• FBI Clearance through the Department of Human Services
