Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Delivery Specialist to operate store vehicles, deliver parts to professional customers, and handle COD collections and returns. Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply, with a focus on safety and efficiency.

You will use fleet management handheld devices, maintain vehicles, and assist with basic store duties as needed, including cashiering and merchandising when business requires.

Qualifications

• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations.
• Driving record must meet the standard set in the company's 14/18-point record system.
• Must possess a legally required state driver's license and meet company mandated driving eligibility requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to customers in a safe and efficient manner.
• Use delivery fleet management handheld devices to process deliveries, capture customer signatures, update vehicle mileage, complete daily vehicle inspections, etc.
• Keep vehicles clean and maintained, complete daily inspections prior to operating.
• Secure monies collected, keys, fuel/fleet cards, and devices at all times.
• Pick up customer returns and fill out driver return slips.
• Communicate problems or special customer needs to store management.
• Report vehicle maintenance needs, accidents, or damage to store manager.
• Ensure fuel tank is filled and vehicle is locked at end of day.
• Clock in/out according to policy.
• Assist with cashiering, merchandising, and stocking as needed.
