O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Delivery Specialist to operate store vehicles, deliver parts to customers, and collect monies on COD deliveries in a safe and efficient manner.

Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply, with additional duties including customer service, merchandising, and occasional cashier work as needed. Maintain vehicle safety, accuracy in mileage, and secure handling of equipment and payments.

Qualifications

• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations.
• Driving record must meet the company’s 14/18-point system.
• Must possess a legally required state driver’s license and meet driving eligibility requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to customers safely and efficiently.
• Use delivery fleet management handheld devices to process deliveries and collect signatures.
• Keep vehicles clean, maintained, and inspected daily.
• Secure vehicles, keys, fuel/fleet credit cards, devices, and money at all times.
• Pickup customer returns and fill out driver return slip.
• Communicate issues or special customer needs to store management.
• Report vehicle maintenance needs, accidents, or damage to the store manager.
• Ensure fuel tank is filled and vehicle is locked at end of day.
• Clock in/out according to company policy.
• Assist customers as needed and help with merchandising when business dictates.
