Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Delivery Specialist in Daytona Beach, FL to operate company vehicles, deliver parts to professional customers, and collect COD payments when applicable.

You will use handheld devices for deliveries, verify customer signatures, log mileage, and perform daily vehicle inspections while maintaining vehicle cleanliness and security. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Driving record must meet company standard (14/18-point system).
• Must possess a legally required state driver's license and meet driving eligibility requirements.
• Familiar with automotive parts.
• Ability to operate other light store equipment.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired).

Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to customers in a safe and efficient manner.
• Use delivery fleet management handheld devices to process deliveries, capture customer signatures, update vehicle mileage, and complete daily vehicle inspections.
• Keep vehicles clean, maintained, and ensure daily inspections are completed prior to operation.
• Secure vehicles, keys, fuel/fleet cards, devices, and monies collected at all times.
• Pickup customer returns (new, warranty, cores) and fill driver return slips.
• Communicate problems or special needs from customers to store management.
• Report vehicle maintenance needs, accidents, or damage to store manager immediately.
• Ensure fuel tank is filled and vehicle is locked at end of day.
• Clock in/out per company policy; assist with cashiering or merchandising as needed.
• Other duties: customer service, stocking, merchandising, errands, and related tasks.
