InterSolutions, LLC is seeking bilingual Maintenance Technicians for apartment communities in Fort Lauderdale. Ideal candidates are fluent in English and Spanish, with strong handyman skills and a positive, can-do attitude.

Responsibilities include completing service tickets, preparing vacants, maintaining grounds, and performing electrical, plumbing, appliance, and carpentry repairs. Ability to lift 40 pounds and work weekends is required.

• Basic maintenance repair across multiple areas.
• HVAC certification is a plus.
• Able to lift up to 40 pounds and safely use ladders.

Responsabilidades

• Complete service tickets and work orders accurately.
• Prepare vacant apartments for new residents by managing turnover.
• Keep grounds and common areas clean and free of debris.
• Deliver exceptional customer service to residents.
• Perform electrical, plumbing, appliance, and carpentry repairs.
• Repair and install light fixtures and appliances (stoves, refrigerators, washers, dryers).
• Fix toilets, sinks, vanities, disposals, and caulking; minor carpentry; painting; drywall repair.
• Remove bulk trash and clear drains as needed.

Primary Responsibilities

• Complete service tickets and work orders efficiently and accurately
• Prepare vacant apartments for new residents by managing the turnover process
• Keep grounds and common areas clean and free of debris
• Deliver exceptional customer service to residents
• Perform electrical, plumbing, appliance, and carpentry repairs, including:
• Repairing electrical circuits, switches, and breakers
• Servicing and installing light fixtures and appliances (stoves, refrigerators, washers, dryers)
• Fixing and replacing toilets, sinks, vanities, disposals, and caulking
• Handling minor carpentry repairs, including doors, window screens, and blinds
• Painting and drywall repair as needed
• Removing bulk trash, including discarded appliances
• Clearing drains and sewer lines (up to 4')

Requirements

• Must be fluent in both English and Spanish
• Basic knowledge of maintenance repair and service across multiple areas
• Previous apartment maintenance experience preferred
• HVAC Certification is a plus
• Capable of lifting up to 40 pounds and safely using ladders
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work weekends as required
