Southeast New Mexico College (SENMC) in Carlsbad, NM is seeking an Adult Education Coordinator to support student interactions and department initiatives. You will work under the Adult Education Director to design, develop, and deliver high-quality Adult Education programs, engage with partners, and help manage grants and community activities.

The role emphasizes data accuracy, timely reporting, and confidentiality in FERPA-compliant operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with three years of professional experience related to the duties.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is required.
• Proficiency with computers and office software.

Responsabilités

• Assist with registration, orientation, testing, and goal setting.
• Maintain registration, attendance, schedules, and assessment records.
• Prepare correspondence, reports, and grant narratives for the Director.
• Serve as liaison between the Director, partners, and agencies.
• Teach ESL and HSE classes as needed.
• Enter data and manage calendars; supervise student employees.
• Support events and coordinate communications.
