Qualifications

• Active state of Ohio teaching license in appropriate content area.
• Bachelor’s degree in education or related field.
• Comfort with growth‑focused coaching based on observations, debriefs, action planning and progress monitoring.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to supervise students in various school settings and pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver lesson plans with the ability to modify during the school year.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all students.
• Maintain accurate records of students’ progress and development.
• Utilize research‑based best practices in daily planning and classroom instruction.
• Manage student behavior in the classroom.
• Create a positive classroom environment for students to learn in.
• Utilize curricula reflecting diverse backgrounds.
• Implement school‑wide culture expectations and norms.
• Communicate with families regarding student academic and social‑emotional growth.
• Incorporate technology into daily classroom practice.
• Participate in planning and implementation of non‑instructional activities as needed.
• Collaborate and communicate effectively with colleagues.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
