Required qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree and a valid Texas teaching certificate with endorsements for the subject and level assigned. The teacher will develop engaging lessons, align to TEA policies, and support bilingual instruction in English and Spanish.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
• Valid Texas teaching certificate with endorsements for subject and level assigned.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement lesson plans showing preparation and alignment to district curriculum.
• Prepare lessons with accommodations for different student learning styles.
• Present subject matter according to TEA guidelines and district policies.
• Plan and use instructional strategies and materials for diverse learners.
• Conduct ongoing assessment of student achievement and use results to adjust instruction.
• Maintain classroom environment conducive to learning and manage student behavior.
• Establish open communication with parents, students, and staff; participate in meetings and committees.
