Job summary

Irving ISD is looking for a dedicated Teacher to provide students with suitable learning activities in core subjects, facilitating their intellectual and social growth. The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor’s Degree and a valid Texas teaching certificate, with a minimum of one year of teaching or internship experience. Responsibilities include curriculum development, monitoring student achievement, and creating an engaging classroom environment. Qualifications

• At least one year of student teaching or approved internship is required.
• Must demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written).
• Regular light lifting and carrying (less than 15 - 25 pounds).

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement plans for the curriculum program assigned.
• Monitor student achievement through formative and summative assessments.
• Create a classroom environment conducive to learning.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree

Valid Texas teaching certificate for subject/level assigned

Completion of Texas Reading Academy required for Elementary
