Job summary

Insomnia Cookies, Downtown St Louis, is hiring a Bike Delivery Courier to bring warm cookies and treats to fans across the area. You’ll check orders, deliver on a bicycle in a timely and safe manner, and provide friendly service to customers in person or by phone.

Must have a bicycle, smartphone, be 18+, and able to work in the United States. We offer a guaranteed $12/hr with potential to earn up to $15/hr, Pay-on-Demand, flexible part-time schedules, and free cookies with every shift.

Qualifications

• Time management is essential to deliver cookies quickly and safely.
• Knowledge of the store's 1‑mile delivery radius helps optimize routes.
• Own a bicycle in working order; electronic bikes are not permitted.
• Smartphone with data plan is required for using the delivery app.
• Must be legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Applicant must be 18 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Check orders for quality and accuracy before they leave the store.
• Deliver cookies, milk and ice cream to customers in a timely and safe manner.
• Provide friendly customer service in person or by phone.
• Use the delivery app per company standards and update customers on status.

As a Bike Delivery Courier at our Downtown St Louis store located at 1136 Washington Ave, St Louis MO 63101, you are our "Boots on the ground!", and the main face that our Insomniacs see outside of the bakery! You give the word "Delivery" a whole new meaning by delivering the Cookie Magic to our fans wherever they are.

WHAT WILL I DO AS A DELIVERY COURIER

• Check orders for quality and accuracy before they leave the store
• Deliver our cookies, milk and ice cream to our loyal fan base, in a timely and safe fashion
• Provide quality customer service through positive and professional interaction with customers whether in-person or by phone
• Use Insomnia's delivery app to approved company standards and provide accurate status updates to customers

DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Knowledge of the 1-mile radius surrounding the store is a plus!
• Must have your own non-motorized bicycle in working order (electronic bikes are not permitted)
• Must have a smartphone with data plan
• Must be legally eligible to work in the United States
• Must be 18 years or older to be employed
