Job summary

CANYON BICYCLES USA INC. is seeking an assembler to complete bicycle assembly under the guidance of the Lead Mechanic and Trainer. The role includes quality checks, inspection of bikes (new and returned), and repairs or parts replacement as needed.

• 1 year experience in technical repair or rework of bicycles or similar
• Driven to deliver high quality
• Resilient, flexible, team-oriented and quick to follow processes
• Interest in cycling
• Knowledge to assemble high-end traditional and modern bicycles (electronic shifting, suspension, hydraulic brakes)

Responsibilities

• Assemble bicycles per Lead Mechanic guidance
• Perform quality checks using a checklist
• Inspect new/returned bikes and repair as needed
• Track progress of assembly and daily duties
• Meet or exceed daily productivity goals
• Prepare parts and equipment to match work orders and specs
• Follow assembly guidelines and torque specs
• Assist with cutting machinery as needed
• Record defects and communicate issues to team
• Maintain a safe, clean work area
• Support picking/packaging when required
