Job summary

Veriipro is seeking a cloud engineering professional to support the BigQuery Omni Multi-Cloud platform across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud. You will drive deployment, on-call issue resolution, and operational process improvements in a multi-cloud environment.

Responsibilities include proactive monitoring, cross-functional coordination, and contributing to platform reliability and scalability while documenting findings for knowledge sharing across teams.

Qualifications

• Strong programming in Java/J2EE, C++, or C#.
• Experience with cloud services and cloud-based platforms.
• Kubernetes deployment and management on AWS and Azure.
• Experience in cloud-native and multi-cloud environments.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the external-facing BigQuery Omni Multi-Cloud platform by managing on-call issues and improving deployment, testing, and operational processes.
• Reduce operational toil through proactive monitoring and issue resolution, including review of AWS/Azure deployment activities and component releases.
• Coordinate and track issue resolution with cross-functional teams.
• Execute periodic operational tasks, audits, and system health checks.
• Drive continuous improvement of operational documentation, knowledge sharing, and support processes.
• Contribute to platform reliability, scalability, and operational excellence across multi-cloud environments.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong programming experience in Java/J2EE, C++, or C#.
• Experience integrating and interfacing with Cloud Services and Cloud-based platforms.
• Strong understanding of Kubernetes deployment and management on AWS and Azure.
• Experience working in cloud-native and multi-cloud environments.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Preferred: Experience supporting production cloud platforms, Kubernetes operations, DevOps/SRE practices, and Google Cloud technologies, including BigQuery.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Support the external-facing BigQuery Omni Multi-Cloud platform by managing on-call issues and improving deployment, testing, and operational processes.
• Reduce operational toil through proactive monitoring and issue resolution, including:
  • Reviewing bugs, AWS/Azure deployment activities, and component releases during business hours.
  • Resolving common operational issues such as transient deployment failures, retries, and environment unlocks.
  • Performing initial issue investigations, documenting findings, and routing issues to appropriate teams.
• Coordinate and track issue resolution with cross-functional teams.
• Execute periodic operational tasks, audits, and system health checks.
• Drive continuous improvement of operational documentation, knowledge sharing, and support processes.
• Contribute to platform reliability, scalability, and operational excellence across multi-cloud environments.
