Job summary

Infosys Limited is seeking a Domain Consultant 2 to lead the governance of the BigID Data Intelligence Platform and drive enterprise data discovery and classification initiatives. You will define onboarding for enterprise apps, databases, cloud repositories, and unstructured data sources, ensuring regulatory compliance and robust SOPs.

  • Lead configuration, administration, optimization, and governance of BigID.
  • Define onboarding strategies for enterprise applications, databases, cloud platforms, repositories, and unstructured data sources.
  • Lead enterprise-wide data discovery and classification initiatives across structured and unstructured data environments.
  • Configure and maintain classifiers, tags, policies, scan configurations, and discovery workflows within BigID.
  • Validate and govern the identification of sensitive data including PII, SPI, PHI, PCI, and other regulated information.

In the assigned Job Role of Domain Consultant 2, your Area Of Responsibility will be as below:
  • Analyze client business processes to identify optimization opportunities and align them with industry-specific standards and best practices
  • Facilitate benchmarking studies, working with stakeholders to align solution performance with industry standards and domain-specific insights
  • Collaborate with technical teams and document system customizations and configurations, drafting standard operating procedures and workflows that align with functional requirements of the relevant sector
  • Conduct in-depth research on third-party products within the domain, providing comparative analysis of features, costs, and scalability
  • Coordinate the implementation of solutions addressing issues during setup and integration, and support in developing and maintaining SOPs, to ensure system stability and performance post-implementation

Required Skill and Experience
  • Lead the configuration, administration, optimization, and governance of the BigID Data Intelligence Platform
  • Define onboarding strategies for enterprise applications, databases, cloud platforms, repositories, and unstructured data sources
  • Lead enterprise-wide data discovery and classification initiatives across structured and unstructured data environments
  • Configure and maintain classifiers, tags, policies, scan configurations, and discovery workflows within BigID
  • Validate and govern the identification of sensitive data including PII, SPI, PHI, PCI, and other regulated information
  • Develop and maintain enterprise data inventory, volumetric analysis, risk management, compliance, and governance reports
  • Support data retention, disposition, remediation, and regulatory compliance initiatives
  • Collaborate with privacy, data governance, security, infrastructure, DBA, and business teams to ensure successful program execution
  • Monitor scan execution, troubleshoot platform issues, and optimize discovery and classification performance
Preferred Skill and Experience
  • Experience with OneTrust, Collibra, Ataccama, Databricks Unity Catalog, or similar data governance and privacy platforms
  • Familiarity with Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) environments
  • Experience developing dashboards and executive reporting using Power BI or similar reporting tools
  • Experience supporting enterprise privacy, governance, risk, compliance, or information management programs
  • Knowledge of metadata management, data quality, data cataloging, and governance operating models
  • Experience working in Agile, Scrum, or enterprise-scale delivery environments
  • Strong analytical, presentation, documentation, and stakeholder engagement skills
Additional Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
