Responsibilities

The Systems Engineer will support and maintain enterprise end-point management applications and infrastructure, managing Bigfix Relay servers and Bomgar Remote Control NetApp servers, providing tier 3 troubleshooting to IT support and GSA customers.

We are supporting a $807m GSA task order to drive digital transformation, leveraging emerging technologies like AI and automation to enhance IT capabilities and service delivery.

Specific Responsibilities include:
  • Managing enterprise applications such as BigFix and Bomgar.
  • Administering, patching, troubleshooting, and deploying new features for these applications.
  • Supporting GSA-wide BigFix components and configuring related infrastructure.
  • Integrating BigFix with ServiceNow for data reconciliation and deployment.
  • Developing SOPs and infrastructure documentation.
  • Providing tier 3 support for complex issues.
  • Generating reports and supporting risk assessments.
Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Public Trust Clearance at start.
  • 4-9 years of experience with a bachelor’s degree.
  • Experience working remotely with effective time management and Agile practices.
  • ITILv4 Foundation Certification (may be obtained within 120 days).
  • Ability to handle complex assignments independently and innovatively.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Availability during standard working hours for meetings and collaboration.

Preferred:

  • Experience with BigFix and Bomgar on large government contracts.
  • Proficiency in Google Suite, Microsoft Office, Slack, ServiceNow, scripting languages, etc.
  • Willingness to work various shifts, including holidays.
Physical Requirements

Must maintain a safe home workspace, communicate effectively via various channels, appear on camera for meetings, and be able to sit for long periods. Travel is not required.
