Job summary

Big Woods Bloomington is hiring a dishwasher to support our kitchen team in Bloomington, Indiana. We provide training for the right candidate and value reliability and teamwork in a fast-paced dining environment.

Responsibilities include operating and maintaining the dishwasher, keeping the dish area clean, and assisting both kitchen and front-of-house staff when needed. You may be lifting up to 40 lbs and working in a humid setting.

Qualifications

• No previous restaurant experience is required.
• Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs and work in a humid/heated environment.

Responsibilities

• Load, run, and unload the dishwasher and store all kitchenware.
• Maintain and monitor the dishwasher, equipment, and detergent levels.
• Keep the dish room clean and sanitized, including trash disposal.
• Assist kitchen and front-of-house staff with tasks as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Load, run, and unload the dishwasher, ensuring all kitchenware is properly stored.
• Maintain and monitor the dishwasher, equipment, and detergent levels.
• Keep the dish room impeccably clean and sanitized, including taking care of trash disposal.
• Be ready to assist both the kitchen and front-of-house staff with various tasks when necessary.

Requirements:

• No previous restaurant experience is required; we're happy to train the right candidate.
• Applicants must be at least 17 years old.
• Be prepared to work in a humid and heated environment.
• Capable of lifting up to 40 lbs, bending, scooping, standing, kneeling, and squatting during your shift.
