Millerbernd Manufacturing Company in Winsted, MN is seeking a Big Pole Welder 2 or Welder 3 on all shifts. The role centers on MIG welding, layout, tacking, and fabrication per product specifications, with an internal welding test determining the level.

Candidates must pass the welding test; AWS GMAW certification is preferred, and weld certs can be pursued within 14 days of hire. A strong, safety‑first mindset and continuous improvement are encouraged.

Formación

• Minimum 3 years of metal fabrication/welding experience or equivalent.
• Proficient in reading blueprints and weld symbols; able to interpret WPS.
• Ability to operate cranes, hoists and other tools; pass internal welding test.
• AWS GMAW certification preferred; eligible for internal certs within 14 days.

Responsabilidades

• Perform MIG welds (butt, V, fillet) on carbon steel per specs.
• Layout, tack, fabricate and finish parts; inspect welds to pass visuals.
• Maintain safety, PPE use, and production paperwork; use grinders as needed.
• Assist in training others and support process improvements.
