Job summary

Primoris Renewable Energy on the Big Island is seeking a dedicated Laborer to support our renewable energy projects with essential manual tasks. This role requires a strong work ethic, safety discipline, and the ability to perform physically demanding duties in various weather conditions.

You will assist trades, haul materials, operate basic tools, maintain a clean site, and follow supervisor directions to help keep projects on schedule while upholding PPE and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in varying weather, including lifting up to 50 lbs, bending and standing long periods.
• Prior experience in construction, labor, or a similar role preferred but not required.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality.
• Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions in English.
• Commitment to safety and adherence to safety regulations.
• Team-oriented mindset and reliable transportation to the Big Island site.

Responsibilities

• Perform general labor duties such as digging trenches, moving materials, and clearing work areas.

• Load and unload materials and equipment from trucks and storage areas.
• Operate small hand and power tools as instructed and trained.

• Follow directions from supervisors and lead personnel efficiently and accurately.
• Report any unsafe conditions or incidents immediately to a supervisor.

• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including waste disposal and site cleanup.
• Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Follow directions from supervisors and lead personnel efficiently and accurately.
• Report any unsafe conditions or incidents immediately to a supervisor.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support project needs.
